Heidi is a doctor of physical therapy and board-certified orthopaedic specialist focusing on mindful movements. She received her BS in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and worked as an Enterprise Architect at General Electric. After a snowboarding accident and two shoulder surgeries, Heidi was inspired to switch careers. She received her DPT from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and worked in variety of settings for burns, acute care, spinal cord injuries, aquatic therapy, and orthopedic rehab. Heidi enjoys learning new skills, staying up to date on evidence-based research, and traveling the world with her husband, James.
