About

Neville received his DPT from 2012 and worked in traditional outpatient orthopedic clinics for 7 years. After feeling the burnout of productivity standards and insurance requirements, he became a partner of a small cash-pay PT clinic in Portland, OR. After doing that for a little bit, Neville chose to explore the independence and mobility that Movement X provided to both clinicians and patients. In addition to being a physical therapist, Neville is also a competitive olympic-style weightlifter and coach. He has been coaching the Magnus Barbell weightlifting team since 2015. His treatment philosophy is centered around helping you find ways to use exercise and movement to get you feeling better.

Neville is a fantastic coach! I have learned so much from him, and he has really shown me my potential in weight-lifting by just simply the taking the time to hear my concerns and giving me goals to work on to alleviate those concerns. He is very mindful of every movement I make and is quick to helping me make adjustments to avoid any injuries. He is truly such an amazing teacher and I would recommend him to anyone!

Neville was friendly and personable. He taught me some great exercises for my nagging shoulder pain (which has been bothering me for over a year) and I already saw improvement after a couple of sessions with him. Would recommend him to anyone seeking PT!

Neville has helped me restore my confidence in moving through a more full range of motion. He's also given me the tools to continue to do so outside of these sessions so I know how to address and prevent future injuries. I would definitely recommend him for anyone who is struggling to deal with injuries, especially in an athletic context.
