Adam Kays, PT, DPT is a residency-trained physical therapist and current Fellow-in-training who specializes in treating general orthopedics, sports medicine, and complex spine cases.  He approaches patient care with a heavy emphasis on movement-based analysis, manual therapy, and strength & conditioning.  Adam strongly believes in empowering his patients through education and promoting exercise self-efficacy to improve his patients' confidence in returning to their regular fitness activities, and he has developed a local reputation for successfully treating patients who have failed other conservative treatments.

After spending several years growing practices for large physical therapy chains on the northside of Indianapolis, Adam asked himself the question, "Is this the kind of care I would want a family member or close friend to receive?"  The answer was certainly no!  He joined MovementX  in order to provide his patients with an unparalled experience: one-on-one care without the crowded clinic, no insurance headaches, no use of rehab techs, and truly individualized treatment that allows for faster recovery, all within the comfort of your own home, office, or gym!

In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with friends and family doing the things he loves most: hiking, sand volleyball, rock climbing, and snowboarding!

WHY CHOOSE TELETHERAPY?

When patients are unable to attend in-person sessions, teletherapy often provides just as much (if not more!) value. Here are a few of the  benefits:

  • Allows you to continue making progress towards goals even when sick, on vacation, or unable to find childcare
  • Saves time spent driving in traffic and planning around personal or business meetings
  • Promotes active participation through frequent communication with your physical therapist
  • Allows your therapist to see your personal environment and create a more effective plan of care
