Dr.Ammar Jamal is a highly qualified Physical Therapist in the Northern Virginia area. He has a special interest in Orthopedics stemming from his own background in athletics and sport-related injuries throughout his childhood. He then found interest in other clinical areas including amputee rehabilitation, concussion rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and neurologic rehabilitation.
Prior to becoming a Physical Therapist, Ammar worked in a prosthetics and orthotics lab where he then carried over his experience to treating patients with amputations. He then went on to further broaden his through attaining certifications and staying active with continuing education and being involved in clinical research. Ammar has taken leadership roles both clinically and in Physical Therapy business practices serving as a clinic director, clinical instructor, and clinical trainer in his previous positions. It is his passion to provide high-quality clinical care while saving overall healthcare costs for his patients. He aims to provide optimal clinical outcomes and promote long-term wellness catered to each of his patient's specific needs.
