Originally from New Jersey, Tony has spent nearly a decade honing his craft as a physical therapist. He enjoys providing 1:1 care to patients; combining expert hands on skills, exercise prescription, and empathetic patient communication.
Driven by compassion and a desire to provide the best care possible, Tony has vigorously pursued continued education throughout his career. He dove deeply into physical therapy research while working towards becoming a board-certified orthopedic specialist. He then went a step further into a manual therapy fellowship program - a credential only achieved by ~1% of physical therapists. This continued learning and growth allows him to combine an understanding of our most cutting-edge research literature with an empathetic heart to meet patients where they are and help them achieve their best possible outcomes.
Along the way Tony has also gained experience in multiple fitness disciplines. A barbell fan at heart, he also has experience training with kettlebells, calisthenics, running, and cycling.
His clinical interests include working with competitive or recreational athletes, or those just looking to become the best versions of themselves. He also has a passion for complex orthopedic pain as well as treating TMD and cervicogenic headache.

I had a top notch interaction with Tony D'Ovidio who was able to zero in on my lower cervical dysfunction and offer me straight forward advice for how to re-stabilize and strength train disused muscle groups there, which is helping to relieve my neck and shoulder pain. Applying a thorough process of elimination and a natural curiosity that didn't begin and end with what he'd read in a text book, I'd gladly pay out of pocket in the future for his quality advice when/if I find myself in need of further physical therapy care.
Aaron, Nov 15Tony is an excellent diagnostician. He treated me a year ago for an upper thoracic issue, which he resolved. Now I come to him with a right hip issue, and I know he will help me to resolve this problem to. I would tell anyone with structural pain to have Tony diagnose and treat them. He is just very good!
