Dr. Eric Schulte is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who synthesizes his medical, biomechanical, and pain knowledge into a simple treatment plan that is tailored to you and your goals. Eric was an avid baseball player who was seemingly always getting hurt experiencing muscle strains, sprains, and concussions that led him back to physical therapy on a regular basis. A substantial shoulder injury led to months of pain and eventually surgery which proved to be a slow and stubborn recovery process. Determined to figure out how to overcome these injuries and get back to moving pain free without fear, Eric dedicated his personal and professional growth to understand how to restore the human body to it's full potential. He is now proud to have overcome the various areas that caused him trouble for years. 

Dr. Eric uses his personal and professional experience to identify the root cause of your problem and empower you to patiently work with your body to overcome the obstacles you face.

Dr. Eric is passionate to work with people of all ages or exercise levels. Whether you're just trying to improve your ability to do basic daily activities, recovering from surgery, or striving to maxmize your fitness, Dr. Eric will obtain an indepth medical history, perform a comprehensive full body assessment, give you a clear explanation of your diagnosis/problem, and create a written treatment plan to show you where you are and how you can get where you want to go. As the first physical therapist working for MovementX in San Diego, Dr. Eric is excited to show you how this new type of physical therapy can help you move better, feel better, and live better!

Fun Facts

Eric grew up in the Spokane, Washington and has slowly made his way down the west coast one state at a time. After getting his BS in Human Physiology at University of Oregon he moved to Pasadena, CA to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Azusa Pacific University. After finally settling in San Diego in 2020, he loves exploring the best spots around SD with his wife and dog. He is often spending time with family, going on hikes, doing yoga, weight training, or going to the beach.
