Jose currently teaches at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Oregon and California chapters. He currently serves on the Cultural and Minority Affairs committee within the Oregon chatper and the Golden Gate Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity Committee within the California chapter. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering for meaningful causes, long distance running, and pursuing Salmon or Steelhead. Jose is a native Oregonian.
