Dr Joy Scott is currently a Physical Therapist in the Washington, DC area. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO in 2016. Dr. Scott received her Bachelor’s of Sciences in Human Health Performance and Leisure studies from Howard University in 2013. Dr. Scott has practiced in Washington, DC and Denver, CO for over 5 years and has become deeply involved in the community. Dr. Scott is a member of the Reseau Docteur Network, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and is a crew leader of DC Run Crew. She has been involved with the Arthritis Foundation for several years and has served on their fundraising committee. She treats primarily orthopedic conditions across the age continuum from 8 to 92 years old. Dr. Scott is very passionate about access to healthcare and improving the quality of life for her patients so that they can fully participate in life as they see fit regardless of age, ethnicity, gender or diagnoses.
