I have had two sessions for a very stiff and painful neck with James. He was able to talk me through my symptoms and pain and then gave me a treatment that has helped immensely. The follow on exercises seem to be helping as well.

James was extremely professional and polite in his appointment with me. He took his time and had some fantastic recommendations to help me meet my personal goals. I would undoubtedly recommend his service to anyone who has never seen a PT before or to anyone that is more familiar! He’s great!

My visit with James was awesome. My husband, a retired surgeon, was in the adjacent room, overhearing the process. He has told his colleagues that James' evaluation was The Best he has heard in his entire career. As the client, I appreciated how carefully he listened, the. questions he asked, and the metrics he used to set and measure goals. He was also very sensitive to the emotional impact of my presenting and underlying "conditions". The home exercise program he prescribed has already, in 3 days, had a positive impact. Thank you, James.

I highly recommend MovementX and James for PT, especially if you are looking to achieve functional fitness. I started experiencing back pain after giving birth and James came up with a suite of exercises to help me do the things I needed in my daily life- pick up my child, run my dogs, walk with my family, etc. He listened to my concerns, came up with a treatment plan that was accessible and walked me through all of the exercises. We also had a virtual session and it was super easy to follow along on screen. My back pain is measurably improved after just a few months and I am looking forward to making even more progress.

James was both professional and friendly, and explained things at the right level of detail that I find very helpful. I've had some limitations on my shoulders' range of motion, which causes pain when I try to do overhead activities like lifting weights overhead, swimming, or climbing with any regularity. James was able to take a look at my movements and how my muscles were working, and give me a set of exercises to improve my shoulder range of motion. He also very helpfully followed up to see how things were going and was able to help me modify things to adjust for some initial discomfort with the exercises. It's been a couple months and with regularly keeping up with my exercises, I'm seeing definite increases in my shoulder mobility and getting more overhead. I'm psyched to keep improving and get to trying some movements I've had to avoid for a long time like bridges and handstands. Thank you, James!

I had a couple of very helpful sessions with James McAfee. It was a particularly good fit for me since he is an avid runner and I had been struggling with quite a bit of knee pain/soreness from running. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. And most importantly, my knee pain is no longer an issue based on the exercised he suggested.

Working with James over the past few months has been a pleasure! He's been very knowledgeable about my particular injury, has been great in educating me on the extent of my injury, and prepares an amazing rehabilitation plan. I highly recommend working with James if you have the need!

James is a great listener and clearly an expert. I am making great improvements due to his guidance!
