Peter Nguyen was the DPT who helped my dad on his journey back to mobility. After being cooped up during the pandemic, my dad developed edema in his lower body which morphed into lymphedema. Peter evaluated my dad at home, prescribed a treatment plan, and enlisted family members to help keep my dad accountable all in Vietnamese! My dad made steady progressive with Peter's help, but more importantly, Peter suggested that my dad may have lymphedema and was transparent with us in acknowledging that he was not a lymphedema specialist. We ultimately sent my dad to a lymphedema DPT, and he is responding very well to the lymphedema treatment plan. Peter is everything you would want in a top notch care provider: 1) detailed evaluation and treatment plan, 2) culturally sensitive, 3) excellent communication skills and bilingual, and 4) deep empathy for his patients.
