About

Rachel Wilkinson, PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist and strength and conditioning coach based in Portland, OR. Rachel specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, specifically for the active population including all ages (children to adults). Her post-doctorate education includes prenatal and postpartum care, pelvic health, shoulder rehabilitation, hip rehabilitation and return to sport for runners, CrossFitters and weight lifters. She works incredibly well with atheltic populations because she strongly believes in keeping her patients doing what they enjoy most. Every session will include discussion on things that patients can do to MODIFY or ALTER their training program, but not cease completely.

With MovementX, her physcial therapy practice is 100% mobile–she provides care in the comfort of your home, gym, or office. She brings a mobile treatment table and helps you decrease pain, increase strength/mobility, prevent injury, restore function, and coordinate your plan of care. It's convenient, valuable, & personalized to whatever you need.

Reviews

My sessions with Rachel are an ideal mix of manual therapy and exercises designed to help me reach my fitness goals. She provides clear explanations and instructions, adjusting her cues until we are both confident I can replicate the movements at home. Highly recommend!

Rachel is the best physical therapist I've ever worked with. With thoroughness and thoughtfulness she creates a treatment plan that puts you on a path to recovery while not feeling overwhelming. From every session I see positive results and that serves as the best motivation to keep improving at home. I also appreciate that she describes the exercises in my routine in a way that I can easily recall them. Now I will forever remember "disco arm" and "what a referee does".
