I highly recommend Sam. As an athlete, I have been in and out of PT many times and I am confident in saying that Sam has been one of the most helpful physical therapists I have had. I am recovering from ACL reconstruction surgery and have been with Sam for 5 months for both pre-op and post-op treatment. Since day 1, not only did she get to know my case, but Sam put in the extra effort to get to know me as a person. My care with Sam has been extremely personalized and it is evident that as a therapist, she likes to deliver person-centered care. Without a doubt, this approach has led to successful outcomes for me along the way; she knows me and she knows how hard she can push me and what my limits are. I started with Sam in person; however, due to COVID-19, we have had to rely on video platforms to do my therapy; one of the greatest challenges of virtual care is the lack of hands-on treatment. However, Sam is creative and thinks outside of the box- she works hard to make sure that my recovery is not hindered by a lack of physical contact. Sam is the kind of person that cares as much about my recovery as I do. She celebrates my accomplishments and tends to my needs. All in all, her positive attitude, kind heart, bubbly personality, professionalism, and creativity are a bright light during these difficult times. Her support and energy are what continue to motivate me, even when I start to doubt myself.

I started working with Sam a few months ago after a knee injury. She was very thoughtful and responsive to my needs and abilities while simultaneously pushing me to get where I needed and wanted to be. Sam has also made it a point to check in on my progress and celebrate my successes. Her exercises have sometimes been tough, but she provides the encouragement to get through them and makes sure that I understand why we are doing them. One of Sam's key focuses has been to get me to a place where I am less susceptible to these types of injuries. When we had to transition to virtual sessions, Sam was incredibly flexible and creative, finding ways for me to work through my exercises without the equipment and resources that would be available in the office. With Sam's support, I have had great success in my recovery, even from my home.
