Zoe Pond-McPherson was born and raised in Northern California, but she has called DC home since 2012. She was a gymnast growing up, played lacrosse in college, and has been involved in the CrossFit community since 2013. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she worked as an investment operations analyst and lived in the Philippines for two years for her husband's job.

She is passionate about keeping people doing what they love throughout their life, which is what guided her towards pelvic health physical therapy. She enjoys working with individuals with orthopedic and musculoskeletal pain and injury, but she also found many people stopped running and lifting because of incontinence and pelvic pain.

She has completed many advanced pelvic health courses including female athlete coursework, return to run postpartum, male and female pelvic floor focusing on incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain. Zoe believes that physical therapy care extends far beyond physical treatment, and enjoys helping people build sustainable habits in order to help them achieve their goals.

Zoe helps me keep moving and achieving my fitness goals! I go to Zoe for everything from minor tweaks to abrupt herniated discs. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and makes sure I leave the session with a full understanding of diagnosis/treatment. And she will tailor our PT plan to make sure I still get good workouts, while also making progress on the focus area. I cannot over recommend Zoe!

Zoe is by far the best physical therapist I have worked with. She has been extremely knowledgeable and supportive throughout a long recovery process and genuinely empathizes with the importance of returning to full capacity after an injury. The exercises and progressions that she has planned have helped me regain range of motion and better manage chronic pain. I seriously don't know where I'd be without her and can't recommend her enough!

Zoe is extremely knowledgeable, considerate and professional. She take time to really listen to you to understand what it is you're feeling so she can develop the best course of action to improve your symptoms, reduce pain and improve your quality of life (whatever your goals are). I also appreciate that we do work on the table but also Zoe provides rehabilitation/corrective exercises to help improve your condition. She is thorough and provides excellent care during her sessions. But don't just take my word for it, go see her for yourself :) Thank you Zoe!
